Ajax Packages
For most homes, the Ajax app is the main control panel. But in South Africa, phones die, get stolen, or go missing — so we build every package with remote control backup and a clean handover. Simple daily use, predictable installs, and upgrade paths that don’t turn into a DIY electronics museum.
What “App-First” means in practice
- Everyday control happens in the app (arm/disarm, status, alerts).
- Remote backup is included so you can still control the system if your phone fails.
- Indoor sirens are default — loud enough for the home and clear deterrence for intruders.
- Keypads are optional — mostly for offices and estates where app access is restricted.
Choose Your Package
Three tiers. Same premium app experience. Different coverage level. We keep it quotable by standardising the system logic and keeping exclusions clear.
Ajax Starter
Best for flats, townhouses, and smaller homes where simple, reliable entry protection is the priority.
- ✓Modern Ajax Hub (LAN-first where possible, with cellular backup)
- ✓Entry protection on primary doors (and key points where needed)
- ✓Internal confirmation (motion detection where it makes sense)
- ✓Indoor siren (practical local alert + deterrence)
- ✓Remote backup included (recommended: one per active user)
- ✓App setup + user handover (admin + household users)
Ajax Home Standard
The 80/20 package for Pretoria homes: perimeter-first thinking with sensible internal confirmation and practical night arming.
- ✓Modern Ajax Hub (LAN-first where possible, with cellular backup)
- ✓Perimeter-first protection (doors + relevant windows based on risk)
- ✓Internal motion detection configured around daily movement (pet-aware where needed)
- ✓Indoor siren (practical local alert + deterrence)
- ✓Remote backup included (recommended: one per active user)
- ✓Night mode configured so it’s actually usable
Ajax Premium / Pro
For larger homes and higher-risk sites: stronger segmentation, layered detection, and future capacity planned from day one.
- ✓Hub 2 / Hub 2 Plus selected for scale and topology (LAN-first, Wi-Fi only when needed)
- ✓Layered perimeter coverage where risk exists
- ✓Internal confirmation layers for clarity and response confidence
- ✓Indoor siren (default) with external siren option where justified
- ✓Remotes per active user included as standard
- ✓Advanced segmentation mapped to real layout (not guesswork)
Optional Add-Ons (scoped upgrades)
- Extra remotes: one per user is recommended for easy shared control
- Keypad: offices / estates / setups where app access is restricted
- Outdoor detection: early warning for driveways, patios, and side passages
- MotionCam: visual verification where false alarms or uncertainty is costly
- Relay automation: gates/garage/spotlights/schedules/alarm-triggered actions
Why we default to remotes + indoor sirens
- Phones fail. Remotes keep the system controllable under stress.
- Indoor sirens alert the household immediately and act as a clear deterrent.
- Outdoor sirens are optional — reaction is what matters, not neighbour curiosity.
Included (standard)
- Ajax hardware supply (per selected package design)
- Professional installation + mounting
- App setup + user onboarding
- System testing + handover checklist
Excluded (keeps quotes honest)
- Complex civil work (trenching, conduit runs, extensive patch & paint)
- Electrical faults / DB board work
- Repairs to old alarm systems / “resurrection jobs”
- Networking remediation (poor Wi-Fi coverage, unstable ISP links)
Upgrade Paths (Add Later Without Rebuilding)
Start with a clean package, then expand in a controlled way. This is how you keep it premium — without turning your home into a DIY electronics museum.
Perimeter & Outdoor
Add more early warning to the approach areas that matter.
- ✓Outdoor detection for driveway / patio / side passage
- ✓Higher-risk window/door coverage where needed
Verification & Clarity
Reduce false alarms and improve decision-making.
- ✓MotionCam for visual verification where it matters
- ✓External siren (optional, site-driven)
Smart Control
Make the system feel premium every day.
- ✓Extra remotes for household/staff control
- ✓Relay automation for gates/garage/spotlights/schedules
- ✓Leak protection & shutoff (LeakProtect / WaterStop)

FAQ
Fast answers for the stuff people always ask right before they WhatsApp at 22:30.
Is a keypad required?
No. For almost all homes, the Ajax app is the main control method. Keypads are mainly useful for offices and estates where app access is restricted.
Are remotes really necessary if I have the app?
Yes. Phones die, get stolen, go missing, or malfunction. Remotes are included as a backup so you can still control your system reliably under real-world conditions.
Do I need outdoor detection in Gauteng?
For many free-standing homes, outdoor detection provides earlier warning. The best option depends on layout and exposure areas — we’ll recommend the correct approach after a quick assessment.
Can I start small and upgrade later?
Yes — Ajax is designed for controlled expansion. We build packages so upgrades are clean add-ons, not rebuilds.
Will the app be set up for my family?
Yes. We set the admin user, add household users, and do a practical handover so everyone actually knows how to use it.
